Big Mama 2 - Starring Martin Lawrence

As with Glory Road, my high school friend Andy Stahl had a part in the film. Andy played the part of the school principal in the opening scene.

Glory Road - Starring Josh Lucas

Glory Road is the story of the 1966 Texas Western Basketball Team and their journey to claim the NCAA National Championship.  It is about believing in yourself and being the best you can be. And though it may sound unpatriotic coming from a guy that was born and bred on basketball in the state of Kentucky, in 1966 my two favorite teams were Tennessee and Texas Western.

Based on a true story with a few interesting ties to my life in Bowling Green.  A high school classmate from Bowling Green, Andy Stahl, portrays Dr. Joseph Ray, the president of Texas Western who hired Coach Don Haskins.  Andy related that as he researched the part he found that Joseph Ray was also born in Bowling Green, Kentucky and for a time attended the Training School, our alma mater aka College High.  Good job, Andy.

Hitch  - Starring Will Smith, Kevin James and Eva Mendes

Hitch is a funny, not to probable movie about getting men and women together. We all know most men can't get out of their on way when it comes to meeting and wooing that special woman. And let's face it what girl doesn't want Mr. Wonderful? Smith does a wonderfully funny job of getting men and women together. Just remember.....it's Hollywood.
