I have often wondered why people have come to this site. I suppose there are some that have come here by accident, thinking I was the famous bowler. Many have left disappointed that I am not. Those that thought this must have a lot of patience because I am pretty far down the line on a Google search. It could have taken hours to find me that way.
Maybe you just wanted to see if I have seen any good movies lately or to get an update on Maggie the Wonder Dog. Perhaps you wanted to see if I have bragged on my children lately, or done something stupid. (I hate to disappoint you on the latter, but if all I did was post the stupid stuff I have done, I have little time to do anything else with my life or little space left on the web.
Most likely the reason is that you are a friend or relative that cares about my life. I write not because I am a great writer, or have a way with words. I write because it is therapy for me. It is a way for me to make some sense of things going on around me. Like why do children grow up so quickly, why am I the only one getting older, and how would I live without the love of my life.
Thanks for coming and reading about how this old hillbilly with sand in his shoes, gets through life. It is a wonderful journey because of friends like you.
